Hello,
I would like to know, if it is necessary to insert MD5 (and SHA1) sums in the
Release file of a debian CD. Also, I don't know what files are optional
and what mandatory, particualrly which version of Packages/.gz/.bz2.
Will the Release files work without signing them?
Any response would be appreciated, most of all link to some place
where is the Debian CD format thoroughly described.
