This despite including the Allow suggestion from Wackojacko.

I have just taken another look at my cupsd.conf file and I have the same
stanzas in the section marked
<Location /printers>
which are commented out in the standard file.
Might be worth a try. Or just 'Allow from all' in both sections if you
feel your network is secure.
As far as firewalls are concerned, this is usually controlled by
iptables package, with or without a gui package.
