Change Subcription

I really hate asking the list this, as I get annoyed when a list gets 
tons of "unsubscribe" emails, however I have recently attempted to 
change my subscription.

I want to receive my emails in digest format. I was receiving emails in 
the 'normal' format (ie, non-digest).

What I did was I unsubscribed, confirmed the unsubscription, and 
resubscribed with the digest option.

I am now getting emails in non-digest AND digest format - I only want 
the digest - how can this be fixed?

(Note: It is possible that my non-digest emails are being sent to a 
different email address, however, if that is the case, surely either my 
unsubscription should fail - because the email address is not actually 
currently subscribed, or there should be a way to determine which email 
address the subscribed emails are being sent to).
