I am running Woody, and loading some packages I want from backports I've found on the web.
It seems that installing the Gnome 2 backport removes my KDE desktop. I've even found a KDE 3.1 site, but the Gnome 2 install threatens to remove KDE without replacement. Does anyone know what the issue is here? I'd like Gnome 2 primarily so I can run a working version of GnomeMeeting, and I'd just as soon keep KDE as my desktop.
