Okay, now I have linked /etc/alternatives/x-window-manager to /usr/bin/ion3 and everythings works fine when I choose default session in gdm, execpt .xsession is still not heeded, when I start X. Is there another way to choose the default session ? ( maybe the one right way ?? ) thanks, Renee! -- "The major difference between a thing that might go wrong and a thing that cannot possibly go wrong is that when a thing that cannot possibly go wrong goes wrong it usually turns out to be impossible to get at or repair."
