Hi, I find the evince with Debian has very poor performance when I open large PDF file by it. However, the evince shipped by Ubuntu appears to be much better.
In Debian, when I open a large PDF file, evince usually takes almost 100% CPU time for a quite long time or without an end. But in Ubuntu, it is not the case. The evince works very well for the same PDF file. Is some tips for using evince? Has Ubuntu done some special patches to evince? Thank you very much. -- Hongzheng Wang
