Debian answer: create your own menu entry files, overriding existing
ones if necessary, in ~/.menu and manually call update-menus from time
to time. Use the ones in /usr/{lib,share}/menu as a basis, or read the
docs in /usr/share/doc/menu.
(working on the assumption that the fluxbox package still uses the
debian menu system)
