How to restore IMAP mailboxes

Greetings,

Somehow during my Debian upgrade I managed to trash my Cyrus 2.1 IMAP server, it  no longer boots. I ended up rebuilding the system on the second drive and, luckily, I can mount the old /var filesystem which contains all the IMAP data. How can I migrate user mailboxes from the old server to the new? TIA for any suggestions.
