I'm trying to install the minimal version (debian-31r0a-i386-netinst) on a (Linux host) VMware5.0. Part way through the install, my machine locks up, with the Caps Lock and Scroll Lock lights flashing. I cannot recover with either VMware's <cntrl><alt> switch, or soft reboot <cntrl><alt><del>.
