I have a LG LW20 and installed gentoo on it.
The stock kernel driver sk98lin doesn't work with me (using 2.6.13).

Downloaded driver from http://www.syskonnect.de/syskonnect/support/driver/
        $ tar xvfj install-8_24.tar.bz2
        $ cd DriverInstall
        $ ./install.sh
selected first option (install method).
Connected an ethernet cable and
        $ modprobe sk98lin
and it worked fine :)
