What tells dpkg -l | grep libpng? I bet the dev package is 1.0.18 and the binary is 1.2.8! You need both the same version. $dpkg -l | grep libpng rc imlib1 1.9.14-16.2 imaging library for X and X11 (using libpng2 rc libpng10-0 1.0.18-1 PNG library, older version - runtime ii libpng12-0 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libpng12-dev 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - development ii libpng3 1.2.8rel-5 PNG library - runtime ii libpng3-dev 1.2.8rel-1 PNG library - development, compatibility pac all are 1.2.8 libpng10-0 is not installed in the system. is it posible that xorg was compiled with 1.0.8?? Could that be the problem? Thanks. __________________________________ Yahoo! Music Unlimited Access over 1 million songs.
