I skimmed through your notes and indeed, there is a _lot_ of brokenness. I think I will keep my hands off the Hurd until the basic system kind of works. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time to simply play with it... However, I seem to notice that the brokenness was more in the installer than in the Hurd itself, except for the 'don't press a key-bug'. If this is fixed and Debian/Hurd would just install, we might see some very nifty things indeed! Thanks for the notes, I will periodically check them.
