I am running vncserver and xvncviewer on the same machine (debian

the environments. Can someone explain me why this is happening and
what I should do to get rid of this problem?
When you start xvncserver make sure to specify the proper -dpi
settings.
I am using vncserver and there is no option to set the dpi. I did
man vncserver and searched for dpi and there were no matches.
$vncserver -h
usage: vncserver [:<number>] [-name <desktop-name>] [-depth <depth>]
[-geometry <width>x<height>]
[-pixelformat rgbNNN|bgrNNN]
<Xvnc-options>...
vncserver [-clean] -kill :<number>
This also does not show where the dpi setting should be set. I have
installed vncserver and is it different from xvncserver?
apt-file search xvncserver did not result in any matches. Thanks for
any more hints.
thanks

vnserver -dpi 100 solved the problem. I guess -dpi option is supported
but not documented. Anyway now the fonts are looking normal in the vnc
session.
thanks
