all ups i bought works .. they all lasts 2x 5x 10x longer than apc
except for the one i dropped on the concrete floor and blew itself
up ( the plastic housing ) into smitherenes
if they add whacky propritory monitoring .. it's your gamble
to use that or avoid um ... i never use anything proprietory
unless it our own widgets or i have sources for it
