Get the linux-source.deb from unstable, install it, extract the source and use make-pkpg/kernel-package to build your own kernel. You can use the configuration of your current kernel to start with. It is also possible to use apt-pinning and add stable and unstable sources to your /etc/apt/sources.list. You can tell apt to use stable as the default distribution but get the linux-source packages from unstable. Read the apt howto for more information on this. best regards Andreas Janssen -- Andreas Janssen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> PGP-Key-ID: 0xDC801674 ICQ #17079270 Registered Linux User #267976 http://www.andreas-janssen.de/debian-tipps-sarge.html -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
