car battery ( $50 ) plus those $50 12v dc-dc atx adaptors would do nicely
car battery lasts abut 14 hrs with an idle P3-1G .. last time i checked
using standard p3-1g systems ..

- all the dead ups i seen or replaced for customers are all apc
