I have kernel 2.6 and gnome-volume-manager magically mounting my USB
devices, ok fine. The best thing is that it mounts always the same
device (disk or USB pen) with the same name.
But it mounts devices with umask=077 (with vfat), and i am not happy
about this, now how can I configure it to set a more friendly umask?

BTW gnome-volume-manager needs to run under X enviroment, i read about
devlabel that do not need X, but it is not in debian.
Is there any package that can replace gnome-volume-manager that is
able to mount the same deivce in the same point?
