Oh? Did he say router?  If he did, mybad, I overlooked it seeing the
larger issue at hand.

Anyrate, if it's a DSL router, why bother with the Linux box doing the
routing?  Seems moot, then.  If it's just your standard DSL bridge
(marketroids call it a modem) like I assumed, then what I said
originally applies.
