Update. I have found the following bug report: vsftpd: uploaded files always 0600 if chown_uploads is set (*356 days old)* http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=269193 I think it is the same bug, although it was reported for version 2.0.1-1. Should I file a new bug report? Josep L. López
