One NASTY fault with debian is, if it ain't free, it's not part of the distro... For mozilla/firefox/epiphany etc you have to track down the plugins and install them yourself... including the hugh java j2re_1.4.2 (whatever) and flashplayer, etc.. If you dont' have broadband, good luck.. This one issue alone is what makes debian based distro's like mepis and ubuntu so appealing to a lot of people... They come with all these plugins so it saves you a ton of time in post install system tweeking...
