I am not exactly sure where this should be reported to. The bug is similar to #323874
But it occurs all the time including in middle of transfers and when attempting a transfer. I also tried downgrading to the previous version. I was not having a problem with the previous package. however I am now having the problem with the previous package. I checked my /var/cache/apt/archives to see what has changed since my error and if what is listed abotu the dependencies of gftp-gtk dependencies being ii gftp-common 2.0.18-7 shared files for other gFTP packag ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.8.0-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.9-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio I tried downgrading gftp-common and gftp with it as well still having the error. libatk1.0-0 hasn't changed libc6 hasn't changed libglib2.0-0 has changed I have (libglib2.0-0_2.6.5-1_i386.deb,libglib2.0-0_2.6.6-1_i386.deb,libglib2.0-0_2.8.0-1_i386.deb) libgtk2.0-0 has changed I have (libgtk2.0-0_2.6.8-1_i386.deb and libgtk2.0-0_2.6.9-1_i386.deb) libpango1.0-0 has not changed regardless to say I am not sure if the problem itself is with the gftp-gtk package or if it is with one of the libraries above. any advice on how to report this would be helpful -- Barry A.
