Well, TMK, "athlon" is indeed an invalid -march option with gcc-2.95. After installing gcc-2.95 did you start with a completely fresh kernel source tree, or simply attempt compiling in the previous tree again? Based on the error, I'm guessing the later. -- Jamin W.
