Dear group, I was wondering if anyone had advice on running ghostscript 8.51 on etch. There doesn't appear to be a Debian package for this version.
I've downloaded the source (from ghostscript.com), compiled it, and installed it in /usr/local. At first glance it seems to work OK. But, I know there is plenty of Debian font-handling stuff that I don't understand. Are there any gotchas to taking this approach?
