Howdy, X is not starting up for lack of a mouse, and sure enough, cat /dev/input/mice gives: /dev/input/mice: no such device. This mouse was working 2 minutes before I rebooted, and it came back up like this.
It has been a while since I've rebooted, so there's the chance that something is different this time around (maybe a command or module that I might have used, but isn't getting run in the init scripts). The LED's on the mouse are on, so I know it's connected Ok. Also, I tried a different USB mouse, with the same result. Is there some way to trace the raw USB I/O? I'd like to see if the mouse is sending data over at all. It would be fun to do, anyway.
