I've ran in some serious problems when I installed/upgrade some packages: upgrade of libc6 failed and now lots of programs won't start anymore:

I did 'apt-get install zlib1g-dev' and it suggested upgrading some packages so I let it. It failed however to upgrade libc6. I'm not that familiar with Debian (I'm a Mandriva-man myself) but at work the test server is Debian Woody. Before screwing up the installation even more I ask your advice: how can I fix it?
