Hi,
I upgraded the kernel image from 2.4.x to 2.6.8; i have software raid from
boot (with the initrd for raid).
With kernel 2.6.8 the block device /dev/md0 cannot be assembled, at boot i
get:
mdadm: cannot open device /dev/hdd1: No such device or address
mdadm: /dev/hdd1 has wrong uuid.
i thought that it was just because of the name change (hdd->sda) and
modified the initrd image accordingly, but again i get:
mdadm: cannot open device /dev/sda1: No such device or address
mdadm: /dev/sda1 has wrong uuid.
Please help me get out of kernel panic.
