I suggest you install the MediaPlayerConnectivity extension into
Firefox. I don't know that it will solve your problem, but it might.
I already have tried that without success so far.
I also have tried with the plugins for kaffeine and mplayer with the same
result. Something basic seems to be faulty here.
Is there anybody around here who can play these files directly from Firefox?
