Hello Michael.  How are things?  I see you have moved from the CNC.

If you want an idea of what traffic you are using at a particular
moment you can use nload, which gives you a live chart of traffic in
and out.  To get more long term information there are a couple of
packages that I can think of: MRTG and Munin.  Of the two I would say
that Munin is easier to set up.
