I think you'll find that your problem is the space between the alias name and it's equates. For example, the first alias: alias ll ='ls -l' Should be: alias ll='ls -l' Notice the removal of the space between 'll' and '='. -mk -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
