Yep, OK. what I'm after is a recommendation from others who might have used something like this to write 5,000 word plus english language documents. There's probably 100 things i could try, and with any evaluation there's always the chance of missing the key features, hence i'm seeking a recommendation. most debian editors, understandably, are aimed at writing code, not prose.
