I'm attempting to install the cyrus21 2.1.5-1 packages on a Debian machine to utilize saslauthd authentication (saslauthd is set to look at PAM). I've made the requisite change in /etc/imapd.conf and enabled the saslauthd daemon in /etc/defaults/saslauthd, but I am still having trouble. When I attempt to make a test login using imtest, I receive the following error in auth.log:

imapd: cannot connect to saslauthd server

Any ideas why this might be? Saslauthd is listening in /var/run/saslauthd/mux by default, I presume Cyrus would look here.
