Hello, I am having problems with sound in woody (see "ensoniq 5880 kernel support" trhead). In order to test the sound I typed "esd" at the command promp as root, to start the Enlightened Sound Daemon, wich produces a small sound in scale. I got the message:
nostromo:/dev# esd /dev/dsp: No such device but dev/dsp *does* exist in my system (together with dsp1, dsp2 dsp3)! What is going wrong?
