OK, people, this is basic stuff they teach in high school freshman
pre-algebra. Ronin apparently remembers his high school education.

Mean, or in layman's terms, average, is the sum of a list of numbers,
divided by the number of entries in the list. This is usually close
to 50% on a histogram, but not always.

Median is the middle value of a list. If the list of numbers has an
even number of entries, the median is equal to the sum of the two
middle numbers divided by two (after sorting). If the list has an odd
number of entries, it's the number in the middle (once again, after
sorting). This is your 50% mark on a histogram.

Mode is the most frequent value seen on the list. A list of numbers
may have no mode, or more than one mode.
