hi folks, i have a couple of Aladdin eTrust USB keys/dongles and rather than throwing them out, i'd prefer to make use of them for SSH and PGP identities. problem is that i can't seem to get them recognized (bloody proprietary crap!). this is syslog upon USB-connecting them:
kernel: hub.c: USB new device connect on bus1/1, assigned device kernel: usb.c: USB device 11 (vend/prod 0x529/0x1) is not claimed by any active driver. and this is the relevant system info: fishbowl:~# lsmod | grep usb usb-storage 20412 0 (unused) usb-uhci 21028 0 (autoclean) (unused) usbcore 48128 0 (autoclean) [usb-storage usb-uhci] fishbowl:~# uname -a Linux fishbowl 2.4.18+fishbowl #1 Fri Mar 22 23:05:46 CET 2002 i686 unknown fishbowl:~# cat /etc/debian_version 3.0 does anyone have them working? how should i proceed? thanks! -- martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:" [EMAIL PROTECTED] i have the power to channel my imagination into ever-soaring levels of suspicion and paranoia.
