Have you seen this? http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=141883 Looks like it's been resolved already, according to the maintainer. I don't see semantic-beta anywhere, though. Maybe try emailing the maintainer directly (or see what you can dig up searching a little more thoroughly -- maybe he has already answered why it's not yet available).
