Hello, Does anyone know if the 5.1 capabilities of the Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1 work under Linux? If so, which kernel do I need or should I be looking at ALSA? How do 5.1 speaker systems hook up to the card? And finally, if all this does work, can something like Ogle or Xine take advantage of the 5.1 stuff? Sorry for all the questions, there is much I don't know.
