I had this very board until recently (G450 as well), running unstable (sid) with the 2.4.x kernel series. I didn't have any problems with this combination... unfortunately the power supply went bad and toasted it. :-( > (On a side note, I am a little confused about this chipset issue. The AMD chipset handles the memory controller and PCI bus.
