This may sound stupid, but is it possible to mirror the mailing list archive
for this list onto my PC or maybe pull down all the mails between two dates?
The reason I ask is because I think it would good if I could do this so that
I could sort mail (pre my joining this list and without searching the
archives online)into different groupings i.e sound, kernel etc.. and then
keep them on my PC or even burn them to disk. Though I'm not sure what
format they'd be in if I could pull them down and what I'd read them in
(probably some offline mode in my mail client).
I think it would be a good project for someone (hint). BTW I can't program
(although I'm trying to teach myself).
