I don't know how to fix it but I suggest you go to the command line and see what is there. Or a file manager if you prefer. I would assume that Mozilla just got its index files messed up somehow and maybe it provides a way to fix it or maybe not. Some mail programs may have a menu item somewhere like "rebuild mailbox". Anyway, my Mozilla mail is kept in ~/nsmail, and here's what one account's contents look like: monkey @ pop.craigw.com -->ls -lGhn total 736k -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 48k Apr 6 13:00 Drafts -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 1.5k Apr 6 13:00 Drafts.msf -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 585k Apr 18 11:36 Inbox -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 2.7k Apr 18 12:09 Inbox.msf -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 57k Apr 18 11:37 Sent -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 3.1k Apr 18 11:37 Sent.msf -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 0 Apr 5 21:31 Templates -rw------- 1 1000 0 Apr 5 21:51 Trash -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 1.3k Apr 5 21:51 Trash.msf -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 61 Apr 13 23:03 popstate.dat -rw-rw-r-- 1 1000 25 Apr 5 21:31 rules.dat You can easily read the mail, save it, or whatever, in case you can't fix Mozilla, with a mail client like mutt. For example: mutt -f Sent opens the 'Sent' box, no problem. HTH CraigW -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
