My cursor got screwed up and I can't change it. Instead of a cursor it is partially filled inch box. I am using Gnome and X on Woody system. I have feeling that the link to some default has chamged somewhere. I thought maybe it was Gnome so I removed Gnome Display So it would start up with just plain XDM but that didn't fix the problem. XServer still opens up with that awful cursor. At least it is useable.
