I'd focus on basic GNU/Linux compatibility and take it from there. If you're ordering systems in large volume, I'd cut an install image for the vendor to burn onto the systems. Otherwise, I'm *never* happy with the partitioning and install I get from a vendor -- I like it _my_ way. That said, http://www.qlitech.com/ does GNU/Linux, including Debian on request.
