Although it is possible to get konqueror to register flash and not be prompted for a download, konqueror 2.2.2 does not handle flash particularly well. I tried at length to get flash to work right under konqueror, but some sites just wouldn't load right. If you must use flash, I am having good results with mozilla/galeon. KDE 3 may have some improvements though too...
