Hi, i am happy to tell you that ximian has ad-APT-ed their ftp server to make the mirrors apt-gettable! (a few weeks ago this wasn't the case.)
So for example the following is now possible in /etc/apt/sources.list: #deb http://red-carpet.ximian.com/debian stable main deb ftp://ftp-stud.fht-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/ftp.ximian.com/debian potato main This is good news since the ximian servers are quite slow sometimes (too heavy load) and nobody really wants to use the red-carpet package management on debian ... ;-) cheers oliver -- http://www.coli.uni-sb.de/~oldo/
