Hi guys,

I'm trying to install and configure Quake II in my new and relucent Debian
(1/2 woody + 1/2 unstable), and have some troubles; I've search through
internet and find a lot of pages about this issue, but some are out and
others are very obsoleted so I've not found solutions to my troubles...

1. Using svgalib with mouse as PS2 my PS2 mouse doesn't work. why?

2. I've a Voodoo3 3000 AGP but it seems to not work with Quake II. SVGAlib is
configured to use this card and it right autodetects it and use the correct
driver but when I try to activate Open GL on quake it crashes with a segment
fault. The same applies if I try to activate Open GL using X instead SVGAlib.
I'm using XFree4.1 with the right driver and DRI active:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ glxinfo

OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Voodoo3 20010501 x86/MMX
OpenGL version string: 1.2 Mesa 3.4.2

So the real questions are... ¿What can I do to get my PS2 mouse working below
Quake using SVGAlib? ¿Whan do I need to get Open GL acceleration with my
Voodoo under Quake?

Thanks a lot in advance,
