I tried KDE about six months ago and I went back to gnome because I like the ability to configure everything to the pixel (enlightenment) and I couldn't get KDE to display icons (some pixmap problem). I put debian on the family computer becuase I was tired of fixing things that I didn't know how to fix (or were unfixable, like winME). I'm already used to gnome, so that's what I put on their machine. Now that the family is used to the interface I am hesitant to change it. I'm also hesitant to install all the kde libs just so they can use Konq, because I always try to keep a minimal amount of packages installed. Thanks for the suggestion, though. Maybe it's time to try KDE again. g -- Brought to you by Debian 3.0 Linux took 2.4.16 #1 SMP Sat Jan 5 12:52:24 EST 2002 i686 unknown
