We are considering using majorcool as a web front-end for majordomo to
allow about 20000 users to use it to subscribe/unsubscribe etc. to
various mailing list on the campus.
It is my task to investigate the options and to find out what are the
security risks involving this. I would like to hear about the more
experienced users about this:
1. Are majordomo and majorcool the best tools for this?
2. What will the implications be for the server on which they run as
far as load is concerned? The server is also one of the two
mailservers on the campus and has handled about 140Mb emails during
the last 35 minutes.
3. What are there spesific security risks involved in this that we
should take note of.
