Newbie question: Setup the network card and DHCP

Hi everyone:   I am quite new to Debian Linux. I just installed the Debian GNU/Linux 2.2.19 in my old computer, AMD K-2 350 with the network card, D-Link DFE 540. I visited the web site of D-Link but don't find the driver. I installed the driver of DFE-538 and 550 but they didn't work. So my questions are,   1. Where to find the driver or compatible one and how to install it in Debian Linux? 2. How to set up DHCP for my computer which is connect the internet through LAN?   Any comment and suggestion is welcome and appreciated.   Best Regards   Hong Feng
