Read the file REPORTING-BUGS in the kernel source. The chances of the bug being fixed if you cannot provide a very good, very comprehensive bug report (AND recompile the kernel as many times as it is needed to test 'please try this and tell me if it worked' patches) are close to none. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
