Hi, I'm a little confused on the what the s bit does for the owner of a directory. For example
drwsr-sr-- joe staff /var/www I understand that the s bit on the group permission would make all new files and directories under /var/www have equal group ownership to /var/www but the s bit on the ownership does what? Thanks in advance. Mike
