Check that /etc/hosts.allow contains a line like exim: <whatever...>, 127.0.0.1 or a line corresponding to whatever MTA you're using. For me, this line is: exim: 192.168.0.0/24, 127.0.0.1 There might be other reasons for your problem, but that's the one that bit me last time I moved my mail setup around. jc
